Brand, Website & Lead System Build — Messy Minds Collective
She had the lived experience, the qualifications, the deep care — and a clear idea of what she wanted to build.
What she didn't have was any of it showing up properly online.
There was no website. No booking system. No clear way for people to understand what she offered or how to work with her. Everything lived in her head — and when you're launching something that matters this much, that's not a sustainable place to keep it.
Fi had everything she needed to build something meaningful. Decades of experience. A genuine point of difference. A real community who needed exactly what she was building.
But none of that translated online.
There was no clear home for her work. No way to separate what she was offering from who she was as a person. No system to capture interest, handle bookings, or follow up properly.
And she was mid-transition — moving from a personal brand ("Fi Waters") to something bigger, more defined, and more sustainable: Messy Minds Collective.
The real shift came when we stopped trying to fit Fi's work into a standard template — and started building something that actually reflected the way she thinks and the people she serves.
Messy Minds Collective isn't a corporate coaching brand. It's warm, human, honest, and grounded in lived experience. The brand needed to feel that way.
A simple website to sell the book
Somewhere to list her products
A bit more visibility
A real system — CRM, bookings, enquiry capture — not just a page
A structured offer hierarchy (book first, coaching next)
Messaging that explained who she was and who she was for
A clear brand platform that could grow with her
To get organised
Moving from "Fi Waters" to "Messy Minds Collective" was more than a cosmetic change. It meant Fi's work could stand on its own — distinct from her as a person, with room to grow into something bigger.
The children's book Finding Granny became the launch product — practical, accessible, and a natural entry point for the audience. Coaching sat behind it as the longer-term offer. Art prints were repositioned as supporting, not central.
CRM setup, booking links, enquiry capture, automated follow-up — all of it wired in so nothing slips through the cracks. When someone lands on the site and wants to know more, there's a clear path forward. Not a dead end.
No clinical language. No corporate tone. Nothing that would feel out of place coming from someone who's spent 25 years in classrooms and knows exactly how it feels to be overwhelmed, misunderstood, and under-supported.
Fi's audience — parents, adults with ADHD, educators — don't need more noise. They need something that feels safe and easy to trust. Every design and copy decision was made with that in mind.
We started with the name and the brand.
We created a clear offer hierarchy.
We built the systems from the start.
We wrote messaging that sounded like her.
We kept it calm and manageable.
A live website Fi is proud to send people to
A working online shop with Finding Granny available for purchase
A clear path from enquiry to booking for her coaching offer
Leads captured and handled properly — not falling into an inbox and going cold
A brand name and identity that reflects where she's heading, not just where she started
Things that were in Fi's head are now out in the world
The business feels real — not just an idea
Her audience can find her, understand her, and reach out without confusion
Less time spent explaining herself from scratch every time
A foundation she can build on — rather than starting over again
The people building the most meaningful work aren't always the ones who show up most clearly online.
Not because they don't care — but because they're too busy doing the work, and nobody's helped them build the bridge between what they do and how it looks from the outside.
This project was a reminder of something we see often.
Fi had the expertise. She had the heart. She had a clear idea of who she was building this for.
What she needed was someone to help her get it out of her head — and into a form that other people could find, trust, and act on.
That's what we built together.
